Rescuer's Helper received notification on April 1st, 2009, that our application for recognition of exemption, IRS Form 1023, was approved. Effective March 18, 2009 the IRS considers our new name, Basic Needs Foundation, Inc. (B.N.F.) to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, tax ID# 26-4498035.
